This includes: assisting patrons with questions, ticket sales, interacting with production staff\/performers before and after events, training and overseeing event volunteers, and providing backup for volunteer positions. The Event Manager is a highly visible ambassador for SummerStage and should be friendly, welcoming, and positive.<\/p>\n<h3>Terms of Employment<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>$10\/hour<\/li>\n<li>This is a seasonal position and Event Managers must be available for at least one shift per week, unless otherwise discussed<\/li>\n<li>The summer season runs June 1 through September 14, 2019. Events are held Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 5 &#8211; 11 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to provide excellent customer service<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be a team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle exchange of money<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work outdoors during all types of seasonal weather<\/li>\n<li>Ability to confidently operate mobile technology<\/li>\n<li>Ability to complete online Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server Training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to attend Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, May 18 at 9 am in Lapham Peak<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the SummerStage venue two hours prior to event, which includes picking up supplies\/equipment from the office, operating golf cart shuttle, unlocking buildings, and preparing point-of-sale technology, cash boxes, and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Answer questions regarding the organization, venue, and events &#8211;
