An update on our 2021 Season
As summer approaches, many have asked: What’s in store for SummerStage?
The answer is that it’s a little complicated.
As we shared last year, being located within the boundaries of Lapham Peak means we must follow the health and safety protocols required by the Wisconsin DNR for all events held in state parks. The protocols limit the number of people that are allowed to gather, which prevent us from bringing fun events to our stage for now.
With widespread vaccination and policy changes, it’s possible that we’ll be back at the stage later this year. Under the careful guidance of our board of directors, we’ve created a few versions of what 2021 might look like for SummerStage, depending on certain factors and timelines. We’re also planning protocols to keep our patrons, volunteers, and performers safe. We’re hopeful that being an outdoor venue will allow us to deliver a safe, enjoyable experience for all.
In short, it’s still intermission, but we’re hoping the next act will begin soon. Until that happy time, please consider supporting SummerStage with a donation!
