Sing and dance your way through our NEW MusicalTheatreCamp, brought to you by SummerStage and Sudbrink Performance Academy!
Learn songs, scenes, and dances from a wide variety of musical theatre, spanning decades from the classics to contemporary Broadway. Find your inner star while developing individual performance skills, working together as a team, and stage presence. Kids of all ages and abilities will have a blast at this camp, producing a spectacular final showcase performance for family and friends!
This week long camp will cover many areas of musical theatre, including:
- stage direction
- character study
- stage presence
- auditioning tips
- final showcase performance
- and more!
Please note that there will be a maximun of 30 registrants on a first come, first served basis. Musical selections will be divided up among registrants based on age, ability, or randomly grouped.
Times: Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm, with a performance on Friday from 3:30 to 5pm.
Please note that there will be a $5 daily park usage fee to be paid when students are dropped off, but no fee to pick up. There is no charge if your vehicle has a state park sticker.

Jes is a Waukesha-based theatre director, actor, and choreographer. She has been seen in commercials and print advertisements, as well as films and stage productions. Before starting a family, Jes worked in and out of the US, including positions in New York City, Atlanta, and Australia. She received her BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Jacob is a working actor, conductor, performance coach, and music instructor. A Milwaukee High School of the Arts alumnus, Jacob played in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, and later coached MYSO String Orchestra and Sinfonia groups. He presently works with various Milwaukee-area theatres as a music director, pit conductor, and actor.
